The Election Commission of Bhutan, hereby notifies all government, nongovernmental and public organizations that unless it is a matter cleared by the Election Commission of Bhutan, till Election Period for the General Election 2013 is over on 14th of July 2013, no organization or entity shall arrange, organize, conduct, undertake, introduce, release or finalize any public activity, event or decision that has potential to sway voters in favour or against a Party or Candidate or be exploited for electoral gains.
The Election Authorities seek the kind understanding, support and cooperation of everyone for compliance to this order in the interest of fulfilling the aspiration of the Nation through Free and Fair Elections.
