The Election Commission of Bhutan would like to inform the general public that the Voter Photo Identity Card (VPIC) is an important document provided for the purpose of exercising the right to vote in an election in Bhutan.
However, there have been instances of VPICs being found in the wrong hands.
As such in case of loss or found, the matter should immediately be reported to the nearest Police Station providing details with a copy of the report submitted to the Election Commission of Bhutan.
Please note that any incident of misuse of a VPIC shall be prosecutable under the laws of the land.
