In pursuance of Sections 577 and 579 of the Election Act of the Kingdom of Bhutan, 2008, the Election Commission of Bhutan (ECB), hereby calls bye-election for the position of Gup at Korphu Gewog under Trongsa Dzongkhag, due to removal of the incumbent from the post. The Poll Day for this bye-election is scheduled on 25th February 2025.
For further details, the interested candidates and eligible voters of the afore-mentioned Gewog are advised to contact Dzongkhag Electoral Officer of Trongsa Dzongkhag who is being appointed as the Returning Officer to facilitate conducting the bye-election.
