A Co-ordination meeting was held on the theme “Our Mission 2018: The National Assembly Elections” from 18th to 20th of June 2018 in The Great Fourth Auditorium, Democracy House in Thimphu to review and coordinate various Programmes and activities being undertaken and planned towards the conduct of the successful Third National Assembly Elections.
The meeting was attended by the Chief Election Commissioner, Election Commissioners, Secretary, Dzongkhag Election Officers of the twenty Dzongkhags and officials from the Head Office.
The meeting reviewed in detail the Work Plan and preparatory activities of the 20 Dzongkhags and the Departments and Divisions in Head Office. Specifically, the individual Dzongkhag strategies to increase voter turnout during the Third National Assembly Elections and implementation issues were discussed and resolved.
