The Election Commission of Bhutan, as required under Section 457 of the Election Act of the Kingdom of Bhutan 2008, is pleased to hereby declare the Election Results of the Polls for the Second Phase of Second Local Government Elections 2016 held in the 205 Gewogs of the 20 Dzongkhags, Dzongkhag Thromde Tshogde of Samdrup Jongkhar Dzongkhag and 13 Dzongkhag Thromdes of Bumthang, Dagana, Haa, Lhuentse, Paro, Punakha, Samtse, Trashigang, Trashi Yangtse, Trongsa, Tsirang, Wangdue Phodrang and Zhemgang Dzongkhags held on 27 th of September 2016.
