This is for information of the general public that Thursday, 6th January, 2022 is the Poll Day for the eight Gewogs where the Third Local Government Elections have been deferred. The Election Commission of Bhutan declares the above day as a Public Holiday in these Gewogs. All offices, institutions, shops and businesses in these Gewogs shall remain closed.
The polling time is from 8 a.m. to 4.p.m.
All the registered voters who have opted to vote in the polling stations in person are urged to participate and exercise their franchise. All voters are reminded to carry their original and valid Citizenship Identity Cards (CID) or Voter Photo Identity Cards (VPIC) to the polling station.
