This is for kind information of the general public that Wednesday, 28th April 2021 is the Poll Day for Third Thromde Elections, 2021. Therefore, the Election Commission of Bhutan declares the above day as a Public Holiday in Thimphu, Phuentshogling and Gelegphu Thromdes. All offices, educational institutes, shops and businesses in the three Thromdes shall remain closed.
The polling time is from 8 a.m. to 6.p.m.
All the registered voters who have opted to vote in the polling stations in person are urged to participate and exercise their franchise. All voters are reminded to carry the Citizenship Identity Card or Voter Photo Identity Card (VPIC) to the polling station.
