Hon’ble Chief Election Commissioner Dasho Kunzang Wangdi accompanied by a Senior Officer, left on 17th of October 2014 to attend the “SAARC Regional Experience Sharing Workshop” at New Delhi on 20th of October 2014 organized by Election Commission of India and UNDP to share experiences on Democracy and Election Management and to provide a Forum for networking and promote new initiatives in the region.
Hon’ble Chief Election Commissioner will present a paper titled “Creating Confidence and Trust and Confidence Building Mechanism in the Electoral Process”.
The participants will also witness counting of votes of the recent poll of Maharashtra and Haryana on 19th of October 2014.
